ZANZIBAR TOURISM SHOW 2018: AN EVENT LIKE NO OTHER
Conceived by the Zanzibar Minister of Information, Tourism and Antiquities, Mr. Mahmoud Thabit Kombo, the upcoming Zanzibar Tourism Show has been tagged as “the ultimate business event for the domestic and international tourism industry,” in the region.
More than 150 exhibitors, international and inbound tour operators, from Tanzania and East Africa are expected to participate at the first edition of the event which is scheduled to take place from the 17th to the 20th of October 2018 at the Former House of Representatives in Stone Town. In addition, about 3,000 visitors from different parts of the world are expected at the event.
The official opening ceremony and inauguration of the Zanzibar Tourism Show 2018 will be performed by the guest of honour and President of Zanzibar, His Excellency Dr. Ali Mohamed Shein on the 17th of October 2018. His Excellency will also be the guest of honour at the 2018 Zanzibar Tourism Awards on October 20, 2018. The gala award night will kick off at 07:30pm and run until 11:00pm at the Old Fort, Stone Town.
