Cape Coast to Host Landmark 2026 Inter-Tourism Conference on Ghana’s 24-Hour Economy

Ghana is preparing to position itself as a continuous, multi-sector commercial hub as the Inter Tourism Expo Accra (INTTA) and the Ghana Tourism Authority (GTA), alongside the 24-Hour Economy Authority and Jaksally Development Organization, announce the 2026 Inter-Tourism Conference.

The nine-day event, running from October 19–27, 2026, features a three-day core conference from October 21–23 at the Ridge Royal Hotel in Cape Coast, followed by an immersive investment corridor journey across three key regions.

Operating under the theme “24-Hour Investment Economy: Driving tourism, trade, innovation, industrialization and sustainable economic growth,” the initiative aims to move beyond policy dialogue into direct capital deployment, transactional partnerships, and cross-border trade framework integration.

The conference is officially endorsed by the Ghana Tourism Authority (Ref: GTA/CEO/035), providing strategic partnership support for international buyer engagement, destination promotion, and the national Ghana Day showcase. Organizers are targeting direct deal flow across seven high-growth sectors:

  • Agribusiness & Agro-Processing: Showcasing value-chain opportunities, moringa production, and coastal export corridors.
  • Medicinal & Industrial Cannabis: Pitching regulatory frameworks, licensing pipelines, and operator matchmaking in Northern Ghana’s agricultural zones.
  • Energy, Technology & Natural Resources: Highlighting atmospheric water generation, next-generation energy tech, and value-added mineral and oil asset commercialization.
  • SEZ Industrial Acceleration: Presenting Special Economic Zones, logistics hubs, and blended finance models (grants, debt, and equity) aligned with the African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA).
  • Digital Sovereignty & Fintech: Featuring live demos of digital financial infrastructure, tokenized capital markets, and streamlined investor licensing platforms.
  • Youth Innovation & Changemakers: Developing a gaming-to-coding-to-AI pipeline to build Ghana’s future digital workforce.
  • Tourism & Hospitality: Integrating trade exhibitions with strategic asset development.
