DUBAI: MORE THAN 9 MILLION INTERNATIONAL TOURISTS RECEIVED IN 2019

A total of 9.58 million international tourists up until the month of July 2019, when compared to July 2018, was received by Dubai according to data released by Dubai Tourism.

According to the figures released by the ministry, India and Saudi Arabia, followed by the UK continued to be Dubai’s top source markets in July 2019.

Despite a 6% drop in Indian tourists this year when compared to the same period last year, the country topped the list with 1,130,000 tourists.

Second on the list was Saudi Arabia with 924,000 tourists, a 1% increase when compared to July 2018.

The UK was third on the list with a total of 667,000 tourists, a drop of 2% when compared to the same period last year. Fourth on the list was Oman, with a total of 602,000 tourists a sharp rise of 29% when compared to July 2018.
