MY ZIMBABWE DIARY XVI: RETURN TO HARARE
June 23, 2016
I surely want to visit Aberfoyle Lodge again. I think it will make a good honeymoon destination. I got up early and just went about admiring the beautiful landscape of my immediate environment.

We had our breakfast packed and we left as the weather looked like it might rain. Well, it started to rain as we navigated our way out of Honde Valley, and that disrupted our plans for a quick stopover at Nyanga, because of time factor.
We did stopover briefly at the ZTA Office, Mutare to drop Ropa, taking the chance to refuel before continuing our journey to Harare. By then, the rain had stopped, but then we didn’t have the time to go back to Nyanga again.

It was a long drive and when we arrived we were checked in into Holiday Inn Harare in time for a late lunch, and a well deserved rest from all the road travel. In the meanwhile, Eniel made a quick dash to see his family since he lives in Harare.

With temperature already dropping, we set out to go and see the Balancing Rocks at Epworth. Lizzie decided to stay back though, but Eniel had returned and he drove us down to Epworth. We made a brief stop at the Africa Square on our way back.

With that done, we returned gladly to our cozy accommodation at Holiday Inn and dinner and bedtime followed after.
