The 50 Africa American tourists who arrived Benin form California, United State of America, earlier in the week have paid a visit to the palace of His Royal Majesty, Oba of Benin, Oba Ewuare II.

The tourists said their visit was necessary, as it will make them understand the culture of Benin and thus help them trace their ancestral root. They were received by his royal majesty Oba Ewuare II, who later took a very remarkable and memorable group photograph with African American tourists.

Also on their checklist of visit was the National Museum Benin, where they were received by the management of the Museum, who led them on a guided tour, which also included a visit to the famous Igun Street, which is noted for it’s historical bronze making. The tourists were taken round this monuments by Hon.
