Organizers of the KARIBU-KILIFAIR Tourism expo, the biggest travel and tourism trade show in East Africa have issued a fraud alert to the tourism community and the general public about the unscrupulous activities of some persons/organisation using the KARIBU-KILIFAIR name and logo for their own interests.

Please see the full release dated May 20, 2019 below:

Dear valued KARIBU-KILIFAIR & tourism stakeholders,                                        20.05.2019

We have received information & several mailings from a company called “Mikono Speakers” announcing that “East Africa’s largest Tourism & Hospitality Fair” is held in Moshi/Kilimanjaro  in November this year. The same company has forged & illegally used our original KARIBU-KILIFAIR 2018 fair ground layout plan (with same stand numbers) and copied their own logo in.

Many of our valued stakeholders got confused and called us to clarify our involvement with the announced fair in Moshi.

Official statement:

KARIBU-KILIFAIR organizers do herewith clearly distancing them selves from the fair announced above. We are not involved in any organization nor in any contact or cooperation with Mikono speakers/Tourism for their Hospitality fair in Moshi this year.

KARIBU-KILIFAIR is only held once per year – and this year in Arusha from June 7th -9th.

Plans are still on to alternate annually between Arusha and Moshi.

Thank you for your attention,
Kind regards
The Management of
KARIBU-KILIFAIR / Kilifair Promotion Company Limited.
