Ambassador Alain St. Ange Named Chairman of Clevenard Open Project 2027
Following the resounding success of its August 2026 gathering in Alicante, the Clevenard Group has announced a major leadership appointment for its flagship 2027 initiative. Ambassador Alain St. Ange, Seychelles’ Ambassador at Large, has been named Chairman of the Clevenard Open Project 2027, set to take place in Málaga, Spain.
The appointment, which takes effect immediately, positions Ambassador St. Ange at the helm of the 6th Edition of the Clevenard Open Project. The event is scheduled for June 22–25, 2027, in Torremolinos, Málaga, where it will run in conjunction with the 4th Clevenard Global Awards and the 5th Clevenard Global Fashion Summit.
A Strategic Vision for Spain 2027
Clevenard stated that the appointment marks “a significant new chapter” for the organization as it continues to bridge the worlds of business, culture, tourism, fashion, investment, media, and international diplomacy.
The decision follows a series of positive feedback loops from the Alicante event last August, where Clevenard rallied a diverse array of government officials, tourism executives, entertainment figures, and literary leaders. The momentum generated in Alicante has now translated into a strategic push for greater global visibility ahead of the 2027 Málaga edition.
Ambassador St. Ange Takes the Helm
Reacting to the formalization of the appointment, Ambassador St. Ange expressed his pride and enthusiasm for the role.
“I was at the Alicante event where I had been invited to deliver a keynote address,” St. Ange said. “I am now invited to steer the 2027 event in Spain as Chairman, and I look forward to the challenge.”
The Seychellois diplomat, known for his work in promoting small island developing states as premier global tourism destinations, outlined immediate steps to elevate the profile of the upcoming event.
“I have been discussing with the Heads at Clevenard, and we will work to get more press coverage to the event,” St. Ange explained. “We also plan to see Event Ambassadors appointed to help raise the profile of the Spain 2027 event and increase its visibility on the global stage.”
Looking Ahead to Torremolinos
The Clevenard Open Project has long served as a nexus for cross-sector dialogue, bringing together thought leaders from Africa, Europe, and beyond. With Ambassador St. Ange’s extensive experience in international diplomacy and tourism promotion, the 2027 edition in Torremolinos is poised to attract heightened international attention.
