Kenya Airways, Accor Align to Launch First African Airline-Hospitality Loyalty Alliance

Kenya Airways has entered a strategic partnership with global hospitality group Accor, marking the first time an African airline has joined forces with the ALL Accor loyalty programme. The collaboration enables members of Kenya Airways’ Asante Rewards and Accor’s ALL Accor programme to earn and redeem points seamlessly across both platforms, offering greater flexibility and value for travelers.

Under the agreement, loyalty members can convert points between the two programmes through a two-way exchange system. Specifically, 3,000 Asante Rewards points can be converted into 1,000 ALL Accor Reward points, while 3,000 ALL Accor points can be exchanged for 1,000 Asante Rewards points. These points can be redeemed across Accor’s network of more than 5,800 hotels and 45 brands worldwide, as well as for Kenya Airways flights and travel-related benefits.

Accor executives emphasized that the partnership reflects growing demand for integrated travel experiences across Africa and the Middle East. Kerry Healy, Chief Commercial Officer for Accor’s Premium, Midscale and Economy brands in the Middle East, Africa and Asia Pacific, described the collaboration as a “pivotal moment” that enhances the loyalty ecosystem by combining aviation and hospitality services.

Raki Phillips, Regional President for Accor in the Middle East, Africa and Türkiye, noted that the agreement strengthens connectivity in key markets such as Kenya. He said the partnership is designed to create a smoother journey for travelers, allowing them to earn and redeem rewards effortlessly from flights to hotel stays.

Kenya Airways also highlighted the significance of the deal for the aviation sector on the continent. Julius Thairu, the airline’s Chief Commercial and Customer Officer, said the partnership represents a milestone for African aviation, providing customers with expanded opportunities to maximize loyalty benefits across global travel experiences.

The collaboration brings together Kenya Airways’ expanding route network and Accor’s presence in more than 110 countries, spanning brands such as ibis, Novotel, Pullman, Sofitel, Fairmont and Raffles. Travelers will be able to redeem rewards for flights, lounge access and additional baggage, as well as hotel stays, dining, wellness services and lifestyle experiences.

With over 100 million members globally, the ALL Accor programme continues to expand its reach, and both companies confirmed that members can immediately begin accessing the new benefits through their respective loyalty platforms.
